When we started to design the Renegade Roadster Chassis for the 21st century, we took a clean sheet of paper and began from scratch. Using our years of experience building Roadster kits from other manufacturers, we set out to design a product that was purposely built to handle and drive like a true racecar. Some companies built a frame, add parts off other manufacturers' cars, and put together a chassis that would drive and work fine on the street. Using a few off the shelf parts, their chassis could be beefed up to be used on the track. Then they would add a brake system taken from several different cars, put a fiberglass body on it, and go into business. We have taken a pure bred race style chassis, put a roadster body on it, and added the best components available.
